Having tried numerous card sleeve offerings from various brands such as Ultra Pro, Ultimate Guard, Dragon Shield, and even KMC itself, I can honestly say that it\'s been quite the uphill battle to unseat what seems to be the nearly uncontested market chamread morepion that is Dragon Shield\'s Matte line of products.

With the Hyper Phoenix line from KMC, that day has most certainly come thanks to not only the quality being offered but the overall experience it delivers when it comes to double-sleeving and air compression. As someone who has done both procedures for more than 400+ cards over the past few weeks, it is an absolute godsend to have a product that essentially cuts down the time expenditure by half all the while being extremely presentable and great to the touch.

Time will ultimately tell in regards to durability, but the common warning signs such as warping, lack of uniformity, and/or splitting do not appear to be a concern whatsoever, however, I must make it clear that your mileage may vary due to manufacturing variance.

All-in-all, this is an absolute quality product and a definite return to form from KMC which is quite funny when taking into account the Pheonix naming scheme. I\'d even dare say it has replaced Dragon Shield and it\'s Matte offerings as my primary go-to sleeves. Frankly, the only con that comes to mind is the current lack of color choices versus every other brand as black seems to be the only available option.
